  I was charged for a service I did not receive. Fortunately, I reviewed the receipt, discovered the item myself, and called for clarification. They claimed they had already credited the item to my account. Or they could put it back on my credit card. This was the only time I had been there, having moved further from my previous vet, and they had no way of knowing if I would be a regular or if this was a one-time visit - Was someone not going to let me know? After the visit, I received a promotional email about a special offer on flea and tick medication. I called the next day for actual prices, but the person who answered had no idea what I was talking about. That is pretty bad form, since the email had come from their office. She eventually was able to provide prices for two options but when I went in to pay and pick up, the prices I had been quoted were incorrect. I have the notes on them; there was no mistake on my part. And there was an additional discrepancy in info provided. With an edge, I was told I must have misunderstood. Clearly, there was some kind of misunderstanding. But there's a world of difference between saying "there must've been a misunderstanding" and you must've misunderstood". A very good experience probably would have resulted in continuing care with this vet. Now I'm not sure - it could be awkward having to deal with the receptionist. The three stars above are an effort to be balanced in judgment with consideration to the rest of the clinic, which I didn't have a chance to get to know.
